Tinytron screen streamer 📺

This tool is part of the Tinytron project and allows you to stream your screen directly to the device.

⚠️ This page is even more experimental than the rest, and only works in Chrome on a desktop computer.

Because the ESP32 on the Tinytron is only capable of insecure WebSocket connections, and this page uses https, your browser will (rightfully) block them from talking to each other. For this page to work, you will need to enable the Insecure origins treated as secure flag in Chrome to allow your browser to make an insecure WebSocket connection to your Tinytron. If you don't understand what this means, or are uncomfortable with it, please don't proceed further.

  1. Open a new tab then enter chrome://flags/#unsafely-treat-insecure-origin-as-secure in the address bar.
  2. Add the IP address of the device, prefixed with ws://, e.g. ws://192.168.1.123.
  3. Enable the flag via the dropdown menu next to it.
  4. Restart Chrome and return to this page.

Please enter the IP address of your device below (same one you set in the Chrome flag). This page cannot auto-detect it.
